Bansuri Care…

Bansuri is a natural instrument and intense care needs to be taken.I will list few below:

  1. After playing bansuri keep it in open air for some 10 minutes..let it breathe… 😛
  2. Store bansuri in locked case with camphor.
  3. Don’t drop bansuri.
  4. Clean bansuri with a cotton cloth both inside and outside every two weeks(Take care of cork near the blowing hole, a small change can untune it).
  5. Use cotton buds for delicate region like blowing hole.
  6. Keep bansuri away from termite affected areas.
